OAPD Membership Categories

Active
An applicant for Active membership shall either be in practice, dental administration, teaching, or research in pediatric dentistry. 

Retired
This member has the same opportunities as an active member but does not pay dues. The member must have been an active member in the past and is now currently retired from their practice of pediatric dentistry.

Affiliate
These members are non-pediatric dentists whose interests are consistent with the mission of the Academy. Affiliate members may not use the Academy name, membership status or logo, nor imply special expertise or training in pediatric dentistry.

Dues
Active and Affiliate members annual dues are $185.
Retired members have no annual dues.

Dues for active members include membership in state society and the Western Society of Pediatric Dentistry (WSPD). This allows the member to participate in continuing education locally, at the state level, and nationally without further dues.
